Extinction is not okay.

Only six Northern White Rhinos are left in this world today. Only Six! This is not okay…

On October 17th, Suni, a 34 year old male northern white rhino was found dead in his enclosure. Although this had nothing to do with poaching, the fact that this creature is on the brink of extinction does.

People on this planet need to understand that each creature is just as beautiful and amazing as the next, we should be doing everything in our power to protect them, not take away their lives leaving them vulnerable.

How can people think that killing another animal for fun is the right thing to do? It's really not okay.

It really needs to end.

It's absolutely heartbreaking to know that human beings, people like you and me can cause something like this, can take away a beautiful creatures life and just continue doing it.

The worst part is that people like me and others in the world try and do everything that we can to try and stop things like this happening. Even by doing this, clearly we aren't doing enough, is it ever going to be enough? Are people ever going to stop harming other living creatures? People will do anything for money and it's sickening.

The world needs to change, so do the people in it. It's not the world that's a horrible place to live in, it's the people in it that are causing all of the damage that need to be stopped.

Action needs to be taken, things need to change…fast!

I hope that next time I post on this blog it's a happier post, until next time friends…

I Guess I Lost Track Of Time

Hey guys, It seems like forever ago that I last blogged on here, I've been absolutely swamped!

I went back to University last month and if you know me then you will know that I am now in my final year. I always knew that my final year was going to be the most stressful but, I didn't know I'd get swamped with work so soon…

I haven't really done much since we last spoke apart from University. I did get a new tattoo and dye parts of my hair pink though, which is fun.

I'll definitely make more of an effort to blog, even if it's just once a week, I promise.

So how have you guys been?

October's been pretty good for me so far, the other week my best friend and i spontaneously bought tickets to see The Vamps on the night of their Liverpool tour date and it was amazing! Do you like McFly? Did you like Busted? Well as everyone knows, they formed a supergroup (McBusted) and they recently released their first single as a band and it's just amazing, I highly recommend that you go and listen to it!

As well as this, Ed Sheeran recently released the music video for his single 'Thinking Out Loud' and it is absolutely beautiful, I'll let you take a look for yourself…

It's been a good month for music, I'm actually going to see Ed on the 28th October in Manchester with my best friend, I cannot wait, I've wanted to see him for far too long!

As well as this…Yes there's more music news! 5 Seconds Of Summer released their music video for their single 'Good Girls' It's amazing, I love it, it makes me want to rebel.

One last music related thing and then I will talk about something else. If you are a fan of Taylor Swift, you will know that her newest album '1989' is to be released on the 27/10/2014 and this week, tomorrow in fact, another song will be released from the new album, that song being 'Out Of The Woods'.

Whilst i am on the subject of Taylor Swift, I mentioned earlier that I did actually just recently get a new tattoo. Well, anyone who knows me will know of my love for Taylor, I've admired her for years, she's by far my favourite artist…ever! Well the tattoo I got was none other than the words 'Long Live' written on my wrist as a permanent reminder of my favourite ever song 'Long Live' I adore this tattoo, it's so beautiful and I am so glad I chose to get it.

There isn't much else to talk about really. Like I said, I am back in Uni now, so I'm rather busy with life, I've been spending a lot of time with my bestfriend which is just wonderful because she's like a sister to me.

Here's some pictures that describe my October so far!

Until next time!

Day Thirty: Au revoir Septembre bonjour Octobre

Sept 30th: A farewell coffee date. Take some time to breath, sip a warm drink, and share with your new blogging buddies. If you'd like a prompt: how did the Blog-tember challenge go for you? Any surprises? What was your favorite prompt, or what would you like to see included next time?

I'm not a coffee lover or even a coffee likera nice cuppa would go down a treat though!

I have really enjoyed the blogtember challenge, I'm a bit annoyed at myself for not managing to keep up to date every single day, but I managed to do the majority and I'm happy with how I did with those.

This has been my first blogging challenge and I'm quite happy with how it all went, I can't wait to be involved in many more!

It's hard to say which prompt was my favourite because they were all amazing in their own way and I have loved every part of this challenge.

I'd say it's been an eye opener to be honest.

Blogtember has been amazing, until next time, friends!

Day Twenty Nine: Blogging Resources

Sept 29th: What are your go-to blogging resources? What would you recommend to a beginner?

I'm going to be honest right now; I don't really have any blogging resources.

It may seem hard to believe, because most bloggers have heaps of resources they use whilst blogging but, I just don't.

There are a couple of things that inspire me a little bit, or help point me into the right direction, an example would be Pinterest…there is so much on this site, it's inspired me for a lot of things, my blog, photoshoots, pretty much anything. If you don't have an account I highly suggest you create one.

There was a point about a month or so after creating my blog, where I became obsessed with the layout. When you have a blog and you are truly dedicated to it, you become obsessed with making sure it's as perfect as can be. I had found many free layouts which I liked but, there was always something wrong with them that just didn't sit right with me. This resulted in me heading on over to Etsy to buy a layout, it only cost me £6, which I don't think is too bad at all! If you're dedicated to your blog, make sure it looks the way you want it!

It's almost time for the last day of the #blogtemberchallenge…see you tomorrow!
