New Year: Chapter One

Something about a brand new year just fills me with an overwhelming amount of excitement, ahh, I can smell the opportunities in the air. It fills me with complete joy to know that so much may happen this year, so much will happen this year, and I literally have no idea what the world has in store for me.

The one thing i struggle with every year is setting my goals for the new year, mainly because they actually mean something to me,. I want each of my goals to be something I truly want to accomplish.

So before I throw my goals of 2016 out there for all to see, I would just like to wish every one of you a Happy New Year, I hope you managed to bring in the New Year in the most magical way possible, I know that I sure did.

A new year can mean only one thing; new beginnings. This is the year, this is my year! This is the year I make things happen, make my wildest dreams come true, and I wish everyone the greatest of luck with whatever they have planned for the year ahead.

I love the beginning of a new year, it's a whole 365 blank pages in the book of our life, a whole 365 pages that we can do anything with.

So without further ado, let's welcome in January! I hope that January is truly kind to you all, and you are to it. We're only going to get one January 2016, let's make it amazing!

2016 Goals

1. Be fearless. Be in control of my own life. Make decisions without being afraid of the consequences. Stop imagining who I want to be and just become that person. Believe in me, if I can't do this then how can I expect someone else to? Stop being afraid of life.

2. Stay motivated. Surround myself with people who inspire me and rid myself of those who don't.

3. Do more things that make me happy. Find a reason to be happy. Live life how I want to, it's the only life I'm going to get, there's no point being unhappy. Travel. Meet new people. Explore. Find new passions.

4. Cross something off my bucket listNO EXCUSES!

5. Blog more. I'll be thankful of it when time has passed by, I'll be able to reread the experiences I have documented.

6. Commit to kindness. Being good to people will be more rewarding than most other things in this world. Making other people happy will make me happy. Don't judge.

7. Change something about my life that matters. Although I don't know what this is just yet, I'm sure I will know when the time is right.

8. Take one picture everyday. The world is beautiful and wonderful things happen every day. It's time to make sure I remember them.

9. Write a book. This is something I have been meaning to do for the longest time and this is the year I will make it happen.

10. Dream it. Wish it. Do it.

Other Things to do during 2016

Move in with my gorgeous partner.
Be more of a positive person.Be happy.Learn to love me.
Travel. Photograph EVERYTHING.
                                                                       Read many books.

I really hope that January is kind to you all, I hope many new doors open for you as every old door closes.
All the best!

Goodbye July, Hello August!

Where is this year going? I'm absolutely amazed about how fast July has passed us by!

So you might be wondering where I have been this past month, wondering why I haven't been posting all that much. Well for me, July brought about a new job that I actually started on Monday, so I'm going into my second week tomorrow. I've spent quite a bit of time with my gorgeous boyfriend, watching an unhealthy amount of films and Babylon 5, as-well as attending a family gathering at The Red Lyon pub in Cheshire, as a last farewell to my beautiful Grandmother.

I have came to notice that I haven't actually posted a goals post or new month post for quite a while, and again I apologise for that.

I'm really excited for August, I have actually got a good feeling about this month, which is something that I haven't been able to say for quite a while. It's going to be filled with love, happiness and it's just going to be the best.

July Goals

1. Read 4+ books. There's nothing like a good book and seeing as I have so much travelling ahead of me, I might as well make use of that time.
2. Save, save, save! I've just started a new job (woohoo!) so it's about time I started saving for my future, for my travels.
3. Get active. With all of the time I spend sitting down at work, at home and travelling to work, I really need to become more active in other aspects of my life.
3. 100 films. I've taken it upon myself to challenge myself into watching 100 films in 40 days. I was actually originally going to do this in 30 days, but with how much I work it just wouldn't be possible.
4. Wake up at 4:30 everyday, 7:30 on days off. It's takes me a ridiculously long time to get to work in a morning, which actually means I have to be up at 4:30 to have enough to get ready and get onto public transport in time. I've began to enjoy waking up early, I love knowing that I haven't wasted my day, so I'll be making sure I'm up early everyday, it just so happens to be ridiculously early on work days.
5. Don't waste money. I'm incredibly good at wasting money and not having a clue where it's gone. I'm a working lady now, I have a house and bills to pay and wasting my money is the last thing that I want to do.
6. Game a bit more. I absolutely despise that I haven't had the time to game for such a long time, especially now I'm working. I need to find the time to just chill in front of the xbox and play a decent game.
7. Attend the cinema more. I love films, I especially love going to the cinema. During this month I'm actually planning on buying myself an Unlimited Card for Cineworld, I'm incredibly excited.
8. Enjoy the little things. Sometimes in life, the little things can be the most amazing things, I need to appreciate everything a lot more.
9. Find the perfect dress. I'm attending a wedding at the beginning of September, I'm super excited, I haven't been to a good wedding for a long time, or at least one that I haven't been working at.
Be happy.

Well, there you have it, I haven't posted a post like this for awhile, but hopefully I'll manage to keep on top of these a little more.

WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING THIS AUGUST?

September goals

So, September is finally here! University is about to start again and it's time to get my life back on track.

This is something new for me, something I'm going to try doing every month and naturally I'm going to aim to complete every goal I come up with.

It's time to start feeling motivated! Time to take action!

September Goals

- Stress less…now this one's going to be hard!
- Photograph a wedding.
- Fix my sleeping pattern.
- Wake up in time for sunrise at least one morning.
- Go back to university for my final year.
- Finish my scriptwriting for my dissertation project.
- Read You're the one that I want by Giovanna Fletcher
- Begin filming my dissertation project.
- Complete the Halo 3 campaign online with friends.
- Get a new tattoo…or two.
- Attend the gym 3 times a week, every week.
- Have cute date nights with the boyfriend.
- Keep my room clean!
- Try not to overspend.
- Stay on top of tidying…NO EXCUSES!
- Learn to love myself a little bit.
- Do something that I have never done before.
- Stop with the procrastination.
- Go to all of my uni classes…NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Be happy!

So there's my goals for this month…looking at it now I have written it down makes it seem likes that's a lot to achieve in one month, but I'm going to give it a shot!
