Currently: Life Update

One thing that I haven't done in awhile is tell you what i'm currently loving, hating, reading and doing in life, so here's a little update on my life...

reading  Girl Online by Zoella. I've began reading a lot more recently and I can honestly say that I've missed it so much, once upon a time I would reading would be all that I would do, then I found myself distracted my life, unable to concentrate, I guess that's when I know that I am sort of content with life, when I'm able to lose myself in a book.

watching  too much, yet not enough. If there's one thing in this world that I adore it's watching films and television shows, I've literally just finished watching Daredevil and I must say that I was absolutely blown away with how fantastic it was. I'm thinking about starting Once Upon A Time soon, I've heard great things about this show. I'm also currently in the middle of watching various other shows such as; Bates Motel, Under The Dome, Bones and, Supernatural...

trying to find myself a job. University is over and my life is moving forward, this is something that I've been excited about for the longest time, the time is here where I get to have control over my own life.

eating Nothing, although it's now past lunch time, I should probably make some food once this post is done with.

pinning EVERYTHING…I pin so much, fashion, crafts, places to fulfil my wanderlust, just everything.

tweeting Usually about my blog, hoping to get it out there a little more, hoping that it will interest people.

going to spend the rest of my day doing something productive. Productivity makes me feel like the day hasn't been wasted, it makes me feel alive.

loving My family…more than anything. They are my rock, they are the people that keep me strong, even though sometimes it's hard, and when I say family, I do also mean my best friend and boyfriend, without them I wouldn't be who I am, I would be so much weaker right now.

discovering that happiness is the key to life's success, that no matter how much you think someone is invincible, it doesn't make it true.

enjoying  life.

...thinking about my Grandmother, which is the same thing that I have been thinking about for the past month, thinking that we still have time to make some beautiful memories.

feeling content with life, happy that I have so many wonderful people in my life.

hoping that everything is going to be okay.

...listening to Tich - Obsession.

thanking  my loved ones for being who they are, for loving me and being there regardless.

starting to plan my life.

Leave a comment and tell me what's currently been happening in your life

Day Seven: Books! The Best Weapons in the world

Sept 7th: What's on your current reading list? Or what have you read that you recommend?

Books are truly amazing things and I absolutely adore reading.

" A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one." - George R.R Martin

Currently Reading:
- You're The One That I Want by Giovanna Fletcher
- Doctor Sleep by Stephen King

Like most people that thoroughly enjoy reading, I do have a favourite writer, that one person who could write anything in the world and I would still read it. Stephen King is the by far my favourite writer, his novels are out of this world, he is insanely talented! He's absolutely fantastic, I'm sure if you have read some of his books yourself, you will probably agree. Here's a list of my personal top 5 Stephen King books, I highly recommend all of them:

- The Stand
- Under The Dome
- Misery
- IT
- Riding The Bullet

These are just my 5 favourite at the moment, it changes quite often and he has a lot of truly, truly amazing novels, I suggest you give him a read!

Current Reading List:
- Mr Mercedes by Stephen King
- Just After Sunset by Stephen King
- The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
- The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
- Billy & Me by Giovanna Fletcher
- The Dinosaur That Pooped A Planet by Tom Fletcher & Dougie Poynter

Which then brings me onto something else…those of you who know me quite well will know of my everlasting love for the McFly boys. When I found out that 2 of the boys ( Tom & Dougie) had decided to release their own children's books, I was over the moon. They are absolutely fantastic and hilarious little books. Everyone is a little childish and these books definitely show this, give them a read…you know you want to!

- The Dinosaur That Pooped A Planet
- The Dinosaur That Pooped Christmas
- The Dinosaur That Pooped The Past

All Time Favourites
- Harry Potter ( 1-7) - J.K. Rowling
- The Lord of The Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien
- The Hobbit - J.R.R. Tolkien
- The Stand - Stephen King

What's on your reading list?

Until tomorrow…

Day Six: Currently in September

Sept 6th: A "currently..." post. Tell us what you're loving, hating, reading, eating, etc.

reading  You're The One That I Want by Giovanna Fletcher! Although I am only a few chapters in to this, I can already tell how much I am going to love this book.

watching season 2 of Under The Dome, season 8 of Doctor Who and currently waiting for the 10th season of Supernatural to air.

...trying to get myself motivated for university, which starts rather soon now that I think about it. I am really excited to go back, these holidays are so long and boring.

eating strong mints…I have a huge obsession for strong mints.

pinning ideas for the home that the boyfriend and myself will be sharing, hopefully very soon.

tweeting about anything that comes to mind to be honest. My twitter posts are usually quite random.

going to spend my day editing some beautiful wedding photographs.

loving how many lay-ins I've had recently. Unfortunately for me though, uni starts soon, so I am going to have to fix my sleeping pattern.

discovering that I need to take this year seriously and make sure I have fun.

enjoying the fact that my student loan comes in soon, I have been completely broke for the entirety of the summer period.

...thinking that I really need to tidy my house…I hate tidying.

feeling rather down, mainly due to the idea of going back to university.

hoping that my third year of Uni is less stressful than the rest.

...listening to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran.

thanking the universe that I worked so hard last year and made it into my final year of uni.

starting to understand that distractions in life aren't often a good thing.

What are you currently up to today?

Books! The best weapons in the world

Books are truly amazing things and I absolutely adore reading, although quite admittedly I haven't actually done it for a long, long time.

Reading used to be something that would help me a lot. It was a way for me to tune out of the world. I'd turn everything off, relax and it would help me to forget life problems. I love different worlds they can transport you to, the different people they introduce you to, making you think you've known them for years. The fact that books can cause you to fall in love with a character when you know they are not real…boys in books are the best kind and should be real, why aren't they real?

I've found some really amazing books out there and I love the feeling of not being able to put a book down, no matter how tired you may be, because the book is so amazing.

The magic held within a book is something of a different world. It's insane where out imagination can take us to when reading. We can travel across county, worlds even time and space. Someones worlds can help you to set the scene and the people, which often results in you imagining this story like it's real life in your mind, like it's a past memory.

I miss the nights of curling up with a good book.

So I came up with a plan…I am going to start reading again and I am really excited about this! I feel it will help me to sleep, it will relax me before bed and might actually make me more of a stress free person. I'm going to read every night, trying to read at least one book every week and I can't wait to get stuck in. I might even start posting reviews on the book I have read, I'm not entirely sure about that yet but I will keep you informed.

So the first book I will be reading (as soon as it arrives) will be Giovanna Fletchers "You're the one that I want" and I must admit, I am super exited to start reading this book, I have wanted to for so long! Hopefully it will arrive soon.

Reading is a wonderful thing, there's so much magic held within them, don't let it go to waste!
